I took them (1003, 4-page Loan Applications) to my local Correspondent Lender and plopped them on his desk. He glared at me thinking something was illegal. He had no clue what to do with them or me, so I pick up the pound or two of paper and walked out.

Finally I became a #Correspondent_Lender NATIONWIDE in the USA and I figured out how I could #sell them on the internet with borrowers' #permission. Mortgages btw are bought and sold on the secondary market as mortgage securities.

Shortly after it dawned on me that if I could generate 1000’s of fully completed loan applications, what is stopping me from doing the same with any product or service, which to me, would be so much easier.

-at a click of a mouse. Before we knew it we were one of the largest traffic providers on the net during 2001 and 2008. We provided highly targeted and qualified SE traffic to all the major pay per click engines online for the next 7 years. (eg 7search)

WebTrafficBrokers.com was able to secure traffic from major search engines in excess of 100 million unique visitors per month starting in 2001.

WHEN INTEREST RATE CONTINUE TO RISE all these homes will be underwater. The mortgage payment and interest #cannot be #sustained with #inflation and #raising_interest_rates.

I cut my teeth in the mortgage industry back in the 90's. Coming out of High interest rates then btw..

I took a job with a National Correspondent Lender and I was going into peoples homes with a laptop and a portable printer. (only person in the world --using major tech --at the time).

Also had the first Panasonic Laptop anyone has ever seen in Florida. That all my co-workers did not support. Only because the GOOD OLE BOYS HATE Competition..??

Not much has changed in 20 years.

We specialized in FHA/VA loans and everyone and their dogs where sitting on high interest rate MORTGAGE loans back in the 90’s.

9.5% to 10.5% interest rates. Basically they were lay down sales (loans) since who didn't want their mortgage payment to be reduced BY $100 - $400 USD per month?

Was writing anywhere between 5-10 loans per week when that is the average per month.

It was a gravy train. (aka residential mortgage refinances) BOOM!

Not on Purpose BUT BY DESIGN. Think about that..

Now the same thing is happening again. the only problem is that interest rates need to rise to 12% - 14% in order for them to fall down again for refinancing??

--and that my friends is the big problem.

When I was a Top Mortgage Broker I specialized in #PROBLEM_CHILDS ( #BAD_CREDIT) There were many other them. But Mainstream Institutionalized Banks --would not touch. Too hard for those losers to do).

But THEY had no problem in 2008 did they WHEN THEY RIGGED THE #STOCK_MARKETS TO FILL THEIR POCKETS?? (eg #SVB) But the WORST IS YET TO COME.

ALL #BANKS AS WE ONCE KNEW #THEM? ARE #OVER!

I put many in homes (First Time Home Buyers) that would/could never BUY A HOME under normal circumstances. I helped them to repair their credit and then #pre_underwrote all mortgage loans for APPROVAL.

In other words I never submitted a b-c #LOAN to an underwriter unless I was 100% POSITIVE it would be APPROVED ;)

..And that was my reward!! to see a family in a home—never thought possible—is a #priceless_experience.. :)

After #Chinese authorities froze several #Alameda accounts worth more than $1 #billion, Bankman-Fried #directed an #employee to make #bribery_payments to at least one government official there, an indictment says.

Former cryptocurrency mogul Sam Bankman-Fried has been #hit with another #federal_charge: bribery.

In a superseding indictment unsealed Tuesday, federal prosecutors accused Bankman-Fried of bribing a government official in China.

According to the new indictment, Bankman-Fried successfully bribed at least one Chinese government official with a $40 million payment in 2021.

Bankman-Fried is currently awaiting #trial after being #charged with a host of #crimes related to the #mismanagement and #collapse of #FTX, previously one of the world’s largest cryptocurrency firms, which he co-founded, as well as his hedge fund, Alameda Research.

A spokesperson for Bankman-Fried declined to comment.
