🌻 Florida Governor #Ron_DeSantis (R) just signed into law #HB 3, a bill that will give #parents of teens under 16 more #control over their kids’ access to social media and *require #age_verification for many #websites.

The bill requires social media platforms to #prevent kids #under 14 from #creating_accounts, and #delete existing ones. It also requires parent or guardian #consent for 14- and 15-year-olds to create or maintain social media accounts and #mandates that platforms #delete social media accounts and #personal_information for this age group at the teen’s or parent’s request.

#Companies that fail to #promptly_delete accounts belonging to 14- and 15-year-olds can be #sued on behalf of those kids and may owe them up to $10,000 in #damages each. A “ #knowing_or_reckless” #violation could also be considered an unfair or deceptive trade practice, subject to up to $50,000 in civil penalties per violation.

The bill also requires many #commercial_apps and websites to verify their users’ ages — something that introduces a host of privacy concerns. But it does require websites to give users the option of “anonymous age verification,” which is defined as verification by a third party that cannot retain identifying information after the task is complete. The requirement kicks in when a commercial site contains a “substantial portion of material harmful to minors,” defined as more than a third of content on the site, which would clearly target #porn_sites in particular. I was from a christian kindergaden..so every saturday/sunday we would go to kids church..so that where i saw a short animation about jesus..however while i was watching..my dad pulled me out..He told me i could not watch about jesus because it was for christians..i still complained and soon i was flared up with anger that i coud n t watch jesus so at home i watched jesus again and my dad scolded me..so that was the end of my first encounter.....The #second encounter was when i was 10 to 11 years old..This was the age that i was introduced to the bible and gain more knowledge of god...the reason why i was interested in christianity at that age was because the way they worshiped god and also that they have a holy book...from that age ..my pastor from my christian kindergarden game the Bible....I also sawed a childrens gospel at my kindergarden and read for a few days..Then one day the pastor called me and ask me to tell the gospel to all of the kids..and i memorised the whole gosple in my head and told them..then the pastor congratulated me....My dad discovered about my Bible but he didnt throw it away...He read it..then he told me where did i got him..so i told him..then instead of getting raged up and throw away the bible like any other non christian parent..he return to me the bible and say nothing..Then at night time....he asked me to pray to the lord jesus christ to save us(he wa saying in a tired way)..but i didnt pray..because i tought he meant reverse psychology..but he actually meant it..My #third and final encouter..was when i wa s12 to 13 years old..I truly accepted him as my lord and saviour and was born again.......My parents didnt know about it....Im 13 to 14 years old this year..pleas epray for my parents that they could experience christ and his glory and also that they would be born again christians.
