#BOYCOTT_COMCAST | #RANT on the 17 Day Process of #Cancelling_Comcast | YOUTUBE COMMENTS: I am totally with you man and feel your #pain..... It is #sickening how this stuff continues to happen. They purposely mess with your time and "Can't find" previous conversations. And they are so layered to create unnecessary complications.

I really hope more people stand tall and make a stink about this stuff. I had a similar experience with Sprint. I cannot stand the #ignorance and lack of actually listening to you as a customer. In my opinion they are #shooting themselves in the #foot, if they create such a stink to cancel you are going to never forget it and they lose a customer for life. Or if they accept your cancel and make it simple you would be more apt to consider them in the future having confidence that if you want to cancel again it won't be hard to do. I have been victim of this stuff many times and the whole start the process over by transferring you to another "division" game they all play. They are going to piss off too many people and implode themselves at some point.

* Fam! I’m currently on Comcast and told my fam all the money we could save be buying our router instead of renting their crappy one (which comes with a built in anti piracy firewall). I try to return it to the Comcast guy I see out the window, he tells me I have to return it in store. He kept repeating at least 10x that when people set up their own modems the internet starts to act strange and then there’s nothing the company can do to save you. Everything is golden despite his spooky message until 5 days later when we returned aforementioned crappy modem to the Xfinity store. Within an hour, our home internet was clearly being throttled by Comcast. Life with this company is torture and I dream of a day when they won’t have such unhealthy monopolies on neighborhoods like mine. All of this happened in the month of February 2021

* This is exactly, the type of experience that I’ve had with Comcast. Now, I still have Comcast, but we wanted to get rid of cable and phone about two years ago, and just keep the Internet. We were told exactly as you, that if you go with just Internet only you’ll pay more money. It is absolutely ridiculous. Unfortunately, in our area the Xfinity and the speeds that we get are the only game in town. We don’t have FiOS available where I live, so as you can see, I am a channel as well and do a lot of uploads, and my better half works from home as well, so we need good Internet speeds. I will say since we got XFi service, the Internet has been phenomenal. We pay for it as well, and the bill is always going up, even though I had renegotiated a new billing plan.

When a person or company contacts an employer to complain about an employee, then they are in effect proactively trying to get that individual fired. Customer's plea to cancel Comcast goes viral | Ryan Block posted his phone call with Comcast as he tried to cancel his service with them, and it has now gone viral.

Comcast billed me improperly too. When I went to the local office to ask the reasons for my bill being double the rate, I was told to refer to a commercial about a temporary price of 50% expiring and to GTFO. Except my 50% had already expired before then and now it was 4x the original sign-up rate. So I cancelled and then got a call offering me to join for 50% off with some free cable TV. They said it was some kind of simple error that they made to charge me more, as if the hours of conversation with the rep were not enough time to figure it out. I declined and after I quit and asked the rep if everything on my bill and account was finalized, I was told yes, everything is paid for. Then got bills in the mail several times for ~20$ for.... "Adjustments"--no explanations ever given.

I got #BANNED from Comcast #Xfinity FOR #LIFE! I was one of the "rare" #Comcast_customers who were able to get their Gigabit #Pro_Metro_E_Fiber service for $330 per month.
The service was good but Comcast/Xfinity made promises that they couldn't keep. And when confronted, they had legal terminate my service.

COMMENTS: MY EXPERIENCE AS A FORMER COMCAST EMPLOYEE: #CANCELLING_COMCAST. I used to #work for #them and I was always #instructed NOT to #give any #credit any way possible. I was #taught that #ignoring_requests would lead to customers #giving_up but not all of course. It still resulted in the majority giving up which saved the Roberts family millions. You need to get BRIAN Roberts address and take your issue to him directly. In my experience we were #taught to #deceive the #customer when it came to any #financial #compensation and I can tell you as a Comcast customer I've been through the same #hell I was #trained to put people through. The #best_day of my life was when I was #laid_off although my #wife worked there too and she was laid off so we had to try to reapply within the company. I was told straight out that I had #participated in #union_activity and therefor was #not_renirable.

Well yes I did sign an agreement to vote for the union because employees in my opinion were treated horribly. Threats for performance if in 4.5 minutes you didn't review all services, the bill, resolve the technical issue and most importantly you had to sell service. This was my experience and what standard I was held to and to top that if you didn't sell you were penalized in you pay. Comcast is only out for your money and has no interest in helping you with substandard service that I was told was blamed on the customers infrastructure as a means to save the company money. I was told this by leadership and threatened when I stood up for the customer and that was my experience. You should know as customers. I've also been charged for a high speed internet that I don't get and never will according to the techs who've been to my apartment. The company conceded to me that they would give me a $400.00 credit but would never be able to fix my issue. Of course I took what I could get but thank God Fios is now in my complex because as soon as my fraudulent contract is over I am gone.

The ONLY way they make it easy on you is if you are cancelling because you're moving and they don't offer service in your new area. In my prior city, I had Comcast (about 10 years ago, and I had it for the previous four years). I had made the choice during that time to cancel and go with AT&T (before I even contemplated moving). However, I was offered a crazy low rate in exchange for a two year agreement, with a clause that there's no termination fee if I'm moving and they don't offer service in my area. I took the deal and did not go with AT&T. AT&T was far inferior in terms of speed but much better in terms of price. The problem is, Comcast was the only cable provider and if I wanted top speed, I needed to be with Comcast. So I did stay until I moved, and now I'm in an area with Cox. Cox has done the same thing as Comcast did to me previously (and did to you), slowly increase my rate. Then what Cox has done is offer a promotion to go to the next tier. They say hey, it's actually cheaper to go to the next tier with this promotion, but after six months your rate will be X. So I take it and even after six months I say heck with it I'm staying at this faster speed. Hell I just bought all this equipment to support the faster speed. But then the price of THAT package crept up, to the point where upgrading from 300 mbps to 1 gbps was an extra $13. And for that little difference, I mean what the hell. So now I'm at 1 gbps. I am getting that speed in fairness, but again my price has increased twice on that tier. And there's no alternative cable option. So now the difference is $21 per month for me to go back to 300 mbps. So it's this crazy cycle of pricing in such a way as to get you to the next tier, and then increasing your bill after you upgrade. I'm sick of it as well, and when there's a better option available at a similar price, I"m going for it for sure.

I purchased a car from Canada once. It was a FIAT. (aka ‘Fix it Again Tony’;) chuckles.

Well the first thing I did when purchased the car was an oil change. The mechanic asked me "Why is a 110 Volt cord hanging from the front end of vehicle”. Well I asked the same question.. “The original owner told me that in Canada it gets very cold.. like 20 below freezing and the oil in the oil pan freezes like tar where the engine cannot turn itself over to start bc oil is too thick”.

“A slow heating element is placed at the bottom of oil pan to keep oil liquidized so that oil does not thicken --allowing the vehicle to start with no problems. Also in almost every parking lot in Canada they have 110v outlets to plug into the vehicle while at work --a trickle charge to heat the element so that oil does not freeze.” he went on..

The list was made public on the U.S. #Treasury’s website in a #downloadable spreadsheet along with a lengthy explanation about what viewers should—and should not—glean from the information.

I purchased a car from Canada once. It was a FIAT. (aka ‘Fix it Again Tony’;) chuckles.

Well the first thing I did when purchased the car was an oil change. The mechanic asked me "Why is a 110 Volt cord hanging from the front end of vehicle”. Well I asked the same question.. “The original owner told me that in Canada it gets very cold.. like 20 below freezing and the oil in the oil pan freezes like tar where the engine cannot turn itself over to start bc oil is too thick”.

“A slow heating element is placed at the bottom of oil pan to keep oil liquidized so that oil does not thicken --allowing the vehicle to start with no problems. Also in almost every parking lot in Canada they have 110v outlets to plug into the vehicle while at work --a trickle charge to heat the element so that oil does not freeze.” he went on..

You see folks these GREEDY elites always want to control everything. SEND A LETTER DEMANDING that they must contribute 10% of their loan proceeds to develop 110 inverted charging stations in every parking lot in the USA. For every EV purchased.
