Back in the 80’s | Belle Chasse, #Louisiana.
It was midnight and I just got drop off by a helicopter from a Diving Barge of an offshore drilling Rig for oil, (Bay of Campeche, Gulf of Mexico) to downtown mainland area of Belle Chasse, Louisiana.
It was the headquarters of #Oceaneering_International, where I worked as a Commercial Offshore HELI/OX Hardhat SATURATION BELL diver.
As I walk past a car lot I witnessed two cops and dog(s) with a man screaming in agony. The dog was tearing at the white guy on the ground.
I yelled Hey? Is he alright??
Cop turned to me and said, “If he was Black we would not have pulled the dogs off of him..
I said to myself, what does BLACK have to do with it??
Almost 25 years later IT GOT WORSE.
JUST LIKE THE ENTIRE COUNTRY OF THE #UNITED #STATES OF #AMERICAN because of #RACISM!??
