You mention bending the rules (to make them fit??)
IMPORTANT: To become successful W/ HONOR and DIGNATY in an Honest way; you cannot BREAK any rules or laws.
That is called #Self_Governing FOR THE GOOD OF all!
(aka Self Control) which is #ABSENT IN AMERICAN CULTURE TODAY!
AND That's what separates the boys from the men and the girls from the Women.
Not breaking any rules or laws in finance is an #ART within itself and requires #superior_intelligence to be successful.
Anyone can break laws and why we have laws in the first place; for those who cannot follow rules and regulations.
They are #robbing from the #mouths of our #children and they DO NOT CARE!
A Sentence back in the day for such atrocities = #DEATH!

In over 40 years as a Business Professional in the USA I can honestly say I have never seen SO MANY CROOKS ‘in one country’ (USA)-- in my life.
I have met many in finance, real-estate, stock markets etc., over many years.
One thing they all had in common is that they would bend the #RULER until it #BROKE. And then patted each other on the shoulders for being… ummm WISE?? Ugh!
Right in front of my very eyes.. (forgeries and many other manipulations of legal instruments)
No matter how hard they tried not to BREAK the ruler they continued to bend that ruler until it broke.
Licensed financiers INCAPABLE OF DOING WHAT IS RIGHT --NEVER GETTING CAUGHT OR GOING TO JAIL??
And that's #Breaking_the_law Folks.
Yes Criminal Activity in the last 40 years, in this country has NOW become ACCEPTABLE AND NORMAL??
YES! Americans have been successful at a 1000's pre-meditated ways of Breaking the Law #ILLEGALLY!
They all talk the talk .. but in reality they have ZERO intelligence.
That said in the past I was a mortgage broker for over 12 years. I would do residential loans for many folks in Florida called "PROBLEM CHILD'S"
Basically I specialized in B, C, and D Residential Home Loans.
The most difficult loans to get approvals for btw and why I per-underwrote all of my loans as a qualified UNDERWRITER before Submission to Institutionalized underwriters. (garnished a 100% Approval rating;)
I was a Correspondent lender nationwide in the USA for 12 years. Its how I found the Internet in 1999, but that is another story that you may find very interesting in the future.

For me I loved the challenge and the reward of helping someone with poor credit based on past mistake and then helping clients correct those mistakes in order to get good financing as a first time home-buyer. (Basically, A NEW or FIRST START in Life:)
