Spikes like these mean one of two reasons.
1. dos attack and/or server compromise
2. A surge of real human #IPV4 visitors from #SEO.
* You need a highly exp. DEVSECOPS for number 1
* and you need to know how to scale and make your servers BURSTABLE for #2.
You only get one chance AT THIS and
https://masthead.social/ blew their chance MISERABLY -- since they were not prepared.
But at least they didn't have to PAY for the #superior SEO job..
