🔭 BACK IN 1999 we were Self-Hosting 8 Servers that were clustered and load balanced.

⚡ Not to mention the first ever to break 10k simultaneous connections per second;) with a company called #Burstnet (Nocster #OC3 backbone)

🛠️ My System Admin at the time (5 years) was getting ready to leave burstnet and form his own Cloud Computing company.

At that exact same time we are thinking #Colocation. Which is the #EXACT_OPPOSITE of Cloud computing.

Network Security to us at that time was to bring everything in-house.

Nothing has changed since then.. 26 years later other than confirming we were correct in our future security assessments.

Inhouse control is key to successful business operations.

We were perplexed regarding Cloud computing since at the time we were able to confirm 3rd party ability to breach our security measures in order to access our technology (aka Trogan Horses = 3rd party plugins;) & BackDoors = #IP_THEFT. 🚔

In hindsight these are ALL #BACKDOORS!

All cloud services are actually 3rd party plugins compromising your networks security. imho
