The #Lorain_County Sheriff’s Office will discontinue its Flock automated license plate reader camera program, Sheriff Jack Hall announced Friday.
Hall said the decision was made after reviewing the cost of the technology compared with its benefit to the sheriff’s office.
The sheriff’s office began using #Flock automated license plate reader cameras in 2024 and currently operates 15 cameras throughout Lorain County, according to Hall.
