I would drive to my Local Credit Union to get a Pre-Qual Auto-LOAN with the Cheapest Money on the planet. LOWEST Auto Loan Interest Rates = Credit Unions. Request a Pre-Qualified Auto Loan from the Credit Union, say: $18-$22K USD. Most 2.5 year old vehicles will fall into this price range. 

Look for a Vehicle on Craigslist ( For Sale by Owner Only ) that has not been smoked in, No Pet Smells, check transmission by shifting gears -- They should pop into any gear smoothly and No Rattles in Engine.
