Its the beginning of winter. All of us in heavy winter clothing.

Next, the other kid sinking fast. I swim over to grab him but to my surprise.. now taking me under with him.

Downing the one who is trying to save him.. IN PANIC.

Luckily the water was only 10 feet deep. I was able to get loose and dive to bottom of lake and then looked up to see the boy at surface splashing away..

..so I was able to stand on the bottom lake and AND IN A STANDING POSITION was able push the boy (walked him to the dock by pushing on his heels in order for the boy to get a breath of air) without him able to grab me and pull me under with him;)

Both safe and sound and when I went and told the father of the girl what had happened, the drunken father pinned a beer bottle cap on my shirt.

Thinking 👀 back on that one, at least ✝️ SAW ;)

Even though it's a global cultural movement, I had never even heard of Burning Man until a few years ago, and was completely ignorant of its global influence. But my friend Carl Teichrib definitely wasn't.
